Its no secret that my favorite time period of art history is Ancient Egypt. I love it. So, I'm researching and making up some characters

For the record, I do not promote polygamy in any way. In a historical context, Pharaohs had multiple wives. To ensure they have sons to take on the throne. From what I've read, commoners did not have multiple wives and looked down upon it. Interesting.

Does that mean I'm drawing a Pharaoh and his family? Yes I am. Because they wear the most clothing. People of lower social status, at least how they are portrayed in Ancient Egyptian art, wear less clothing. There will be other characters, though. My solution might be to just put the lower status people in much simpler clothing.

Right now, I'm researching how they dress. I am going to take some liberty with it, but I'm going to make it as historically correct as I am able.

Anyway. Thought someone might like to hear about that I have the family tree drawn out, so I'll try to have a character or two up this week.
